Sometimes I feel like my brain is moving way faster than my body. #dissonance ♫ "Faster" by Janelle Monáe | via #soundtracking app DYoungV #urbanlandscape #sanfrancisco Not for Sale #stencilart #urbanlandscape #sanfrancisco Just like me and many other womyn (and people of color) I know...we grow where we (are told) are not supposed to. #grow #thrive #determined Craving Living with this man was difficult. I can't and won't lie. He was one of the most enigmatic people in my life. Challenging to understand, difficult to please, always the critic, and extremely masculine. But he picked me up every day from school until I got my license, made the best corner beef hash (ever), and cried at my college graduation (NEVER ever saw him cry...EVER)! He taught me how to drive in San Francisco rush hour traffic and parallel park uphill! He taught me how to catch a ball (with my back facing traffic to make sure I caught the ball...who does that?!?!). He sang like an angel (even though he was far from one), danced with so much soul, and played guitar so beautifully. I'm convinced he had the inner strength of 10 human beings, a wit and charm that could sell a heater in Arizona heat, and a smile that seemed to make my sadness dissipate. I am what I am because of you. Miss you. Love you...see you one day, Dad. Happy Father's Day! The night is young...join us. #music #sanfrancisco #nightlife Looking forward to hanging out with dear friends listening to some damn good music #sanfrancisco #music #nightlife I don't know about you Womyn have ALWAYS been able to sh*t on their own.
